It was attended by 700+ participants comprised of the English speaking students and scholars of Qom from different countries along with their families and friends. It was truly a multicultural and diverse gathering of the admirers of the martyrs of Islam from Nigeria\, Philippines\, Indonesia\, Afghanistan\, Iraq\, US\, Canada\, UK\, Australia\, Ireland\, Pakistan\, New Zealand\, Dubai\, India\, Lebanon\, Tanzania\, Bangladesh\, others\, and of course the Islamic Republic of Iran. Many teachers of the Islamic Seminary of Qom also blessed the gathering with their presence. \nMen\, women\, youth\, kids and a number of senior scholars attended this event. Sayyid Shahryar from the US emceed the event which started off with a mesmerizing recitation of the Holy Quran by Shaykh Qamruddin from Indonesia followed up with a captivating recitation of Dua Tawassul by Br. Ammar from Nigeria. \nSr. Zainab from the US and Br. Husayn from the US presented outstanding\, refreshing and revolutionary spoken word poetry. \nThe University Panel Discussion included Sr. Marzieh Hashemi from PressTV\, Dr. Zohreh Kharazmi\, Dr. Reza Baqeri\, and Dr. Ehsan Sharif; all Associate Professors from the University of Tehran. \nThe Hawzah Panel Discussion included Sayyid Agha Ali Raza\, Shaykh Mustafa Araki\, Sayyid Shahryar Naqvi\, and Shaykh Ali Qomi; all from the Islamic Seminary of Qom. \nEach participant of the panel addressed one unique question that was pertaining to today’s socio-political affairs of the Muslim Ummah. \n7 families of the respectable martyrs were invited on the stage to receive their Gifts of Honor from Shaykh Shahamat and Shaykh Rezaei. \n12 families received Raffle Draw gift pictures. \nAlmost all kids wore headbands in the Community Kids Surūd recital and performed the all-time-favorite ‘Salam Farmande’ Surūd. Hundreds of live audience applauded their performance with Salawaat on Muhammad wa Ale Muhammad (s). Their performance left many in tears of joy and the hall resonated with loud slogans chanted by children on the stage and attendees of the conference. \nThe kids and youth received goodie bags and gifts prepared by our volunteer families. \nMultimedia video clips of Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei\, Shaheed Qasem Soleimani\, and Shaheed Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah were played on the projector in subsequent intervals throughout the event. A beautiful nasheed titled “O’ Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah” played on the big screen before the event began formally. To name a few\, participants from Australia\, Canada\, Dar es Salam\, Dubai\, India\, Iraq\, Ireland\, New Zealand\, Nigeria\, Pakistan\, Philippines\, Tanzania\, UK\, US\, and of course the Islamic Republic of Iran were in presence. Multiple senior scholars and teachers of the Hawzah (Islamic Seminary of Qom) attended this all-important seminar and book exhibition. \nSayyid Shahryar from the US emceed the event which started off with a mesmerizing recitation of the Holy Quran by Shaykh Abdulmajeed from Nigeria. Shaykh Ali Qomi did a presentation outlining a framework of 18 characteristics on the topic of “America – From Decline To Downfall”. Dr. Foad Izadi did the keynote speech on the “Decline of America” and elaborated on statistical data and evidence of this decline. A couple of video clips were played on projector regarding the topic. The seminar concluded with a short introduction to the book exhibition by a female university student from Tehran. \n250+ books written by Western authors on the theme of “Decline of America” were arranged on tables for participants to see and purchase from. The book exhibition was arranged by the University Professors and their students from Tehran. Alhamdolillah\, many attendees appreciated the effort and purchased multiple books. \nTea was served throughout the event. And takeaway dinner was given to all attendees. \nImam Sayyid Ali Khamenei has repeated the theme of افول آمریکا (Decline of America) several times in his speeches and this seminar and book exhibition (organized by the University Professors from Tehran and the Hawzah scholars and students from Qom) on this very theme is an important milestone. The effectiveness of joining as a group becomes obvious when one observes so many local Iranians taking pictures and filming our rally\, the main banner\, and the placards in English that you were holding. \nIt was refreshing to see so many Iranian men\, women\, and youth approaching us and praising this initiative. Masha’Allah so many Islamic scholars stopped by\, appreciated\, and gave duaas to this multicultural and multiethnic English speaking group of participants. We had participants from Ireland\, United States\, Pakistan\, United Kingdom\, Kashmir\, Tanzania\, Australia\, India\, Canada\, and of course Iran – to name a few. The support of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic System of Wilayatul Faqih is global.
