Sayyid Shahryar from the US emceed the event\, which started off with mesmerizing recitation of the Holy Quran by Br. Zaki Naqvi from the US followed up with an enticing recitation of Dua Tawassul by Sayyid Amir Behbahani from Canada. \nBr. Ali Murtaza from Nigeria and Br. Husayn from the US presented thought-provoking and revolutionary spoken word poetry. \nShaykh Muhammad Ali Husayn from the Philippines delivered a short talk highlighting the impact of Imam Khomeini (r) on the locals in the Philippines. Shaykh Ali from Pakistan spoke briefly about Imam Khomeini’s comprehensive personality\, knowledge\, and understanding of the Pure Muhammadan Islam. \nShaykh Ahmad Panahian from the Islamic Republic of Iran delivered the keynote speech on the topic of “The Divine System of Wilayatul Faqih Against The Global System of Arrogance”. \nChildren were all dressed with headbands by our volunteers to perform the ‘Salam Farmande 2’ Surūd on stage. Hundreds of live audience applauded their performance with Salawaat on Muhammad wa Ale Muhammad (s). \nMultimedia video clips of Imam Sayyid Ruhollah Khomeini and Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei were played on four spread-out screens in subsequent intervals throughout the event. Both clips were subtitled in English. A beautiful Islamic resistance song titled ‘Khomeini-e-Imam’ was played at the beginning and end of the event. \nThe kids area offered coloring activities\, toys\, blocks\, and much more which they enjoyed from the beginning of the program till after. \nThe event concluded with Salātul Jamā’ah. \nAll attendees were served fruit punch\, snacks\, and cookies\, during the event and Takeaway Dinner Tabarruk at the end. \nAlmost all arrangements were made by our team of youth volunteers. SoQ volunteer families and many attendees stayed behind to clean and wrap up.
