Ruhullah (Pakistan)\n 07:23Introduction | Sayyid Shahryar Naqvi (United States)\n \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ icons_position=”right”][vc_column_text] \nSalam Alaykum\, thank you all for attending the program on the 26th of December 2024 and showing your utmost respect\, regard\, reverence\, and gratitude for the Shuhada of Islam\, especially for Shaheed Qasem Soleimani\, Shaheed Abu-Mahdi Al-Mohandes\, Shaheed Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah and the recent martyrs of Palestine & Lebanon. \nThe event took place at the Qods Auditorium\, Madrasah Imam Khomeini (R) in the holy city of Qom. It was attended by 1000+ participants comprised of the English speaking students and scholars of Qom from different countries along with their families and friends. It was truly a multicultural and diverse gathering of the admirers of the martyrs of Islam from Nigeria\, Philippines\, Indonesia\, Afghanistan\, Iraq\, US\, Canada\, UK\, Australia\, Ireland\, Pakistan\, New Zealand\, Dubai\, India\, Lebanon\, Sweden\, Tanzania\, Bangladesh\, others\, and of course the Islamic Republic of Iran. Many teachers of the Islamic Seminary of Qom also blessed the gathering with their presence. In addition\, a group of International students from the University of Tehran also attended the program. \nMen\, women\, youth\, kids and a number of senior scholars attended this event. Sayyid Shahryar from the US emceed the event which started off with a mesmerizing recitation of the Holy Quran by Br. Ruhullah from Pakistan followed up with a captivating recitation of Dua Tawassul by Shaykh Mastura from the Philippines. \nBr. Sayyid Aqil from Indonesia\, Br. Ali Murtaza from Nigeria\, Sr. Fatima from the US\, Sr. Zainab from the US\, and Br. Husayn from the US presented outstanding\, refreshing and revolutionary spoken word poetry. \nThe Panel Discussion was hosted by Br. M. Ali Araki from the UK with four panelists – Sayyid Agha Ali Raza\, Shaykh Jaffer Ladak\, Shaykh Ali Qomi\, and Sayyid Shahryar Naqvi who answered questions pertaining to recent developments in the region. \nAyatollah Mohsen Araki delivered the keynote speech in Farsi in which he outlined the responsibilities of the believers and pointed out the expectations from the scholars and students of the Islamic Seminary. \n14 families received Raffle Draw gift pictures from Sayyid Sadeqi (Principal of AMIS) and Shaykh Rezaei (Head of the cultural activities of the Islamic Seminary). \nAlmost all kids wore headbands in the Community Kids Surūd recital and performed the ‘NASLE AARMANI 2’ Surūd followed up with all-time-favorite ‘Salam Farmande’. Hundreds of live audience applauded their performance with Salawaat on Muhammad wa Ale Muhammad (s). Their performance left many in tears of joy and the hall resonated with the slogans of ‘Labbayka Ya Mahdi’ and ‘Labbayka Ya Khamenei’. \nThe kids and youth received goodie bags and gifts upon entering the venue. Ladies also received Mothers’ Day Gifts. \nMultimedia video clips of Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei\, Shaheed Qasem Soleimani\, and Shaheed Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah were played on the projector in subsequent intervals throughout the event. A beautiful nasheed titled “We Are The Warriors of Haydar” played in the entrance hallway. All videos were subtitled in English. \nThank you for supporting the initiative to raise funds for the oppressed people of Lebanon & Palestine by purchasing the pictures and/or the hand-crafted frames. \nAttendees were served with Takeaway Dinner Tabarruk. Tea and snacks were made available at the entrance throughout the event. \nOur volunteer families and many attendees stayed behind for cleaning and wrap up.
